Woman scares bear away by throwing stones

Somewhere near the Russian village of Orotukan, there is a hungry bear who’s unexpectedly skipped dinner. The potential dinner, in this case, was Olga Prokopenko, out on a walk minding her own business. The bear didn’t expect its prey to fight back, but that’s just what Olga did. She explained to reporters that she didn’t even have time to be afraid when confronted by the bear, and began throwing stones at it, ‘like driving away stray dogs.’ Amazingly, this worked, and the bear decided ‘Screw this, I’m going home.’ After the bear had run away, Olga continued her walk as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened.
