Swimwear skiers brave Siberia for end of season festival

Over a thousand skiers descended the slopes of Grelkafest 2024 for the final time, except they appear to forget 97% of their clothes. Yes, a Russian skiing event in Siberia held a swimsuit competition of all things, with the ‘solemn’ event (in the words of the organizers) where the 1,007 attendees came down the ski slope in their finest bikinis, swimming trunks and other forms of waterproof underpants. For some, it was like they were wearing nothin’ at all. For those of you worried about getting your eye put out by a frosty and erect piece of a skier’s equipment, Grelkafest held more mysterious novelty skiing events, such as aliens vs astronauts, 90s themed fancy dress (the wind never stood a chance), fancy evening wear, and RGB unicorn vomit. Those of you interested in attending next year’s event in Sheregesh better get your outfits ready now.
