He was one of the founders of Upright Citizens Brigade, a writer at SNL, and the business partner/producer/director of Will Ferrell and most of his biggest movies. This year Adam McKay teamed with Brad Pitt’s Plan B to make a comedy with a lot more than comedy in mind, The Big Short starring Pitt, Carell, Gosling, and Bale. McKay talks to David Poland about the film and his life’s work
