FEMA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recently commenced the Operation Blue Roof mission in support of Hurricane Ian to provide homeowners and permanently occupied rental properties with fiber-reinforced sheeting to cover their damaged roofs until the properties receive permanent repairs.
