April Stevens--Gotta Leave You Baby

“Gotta Leave You Baby“ is a re-working of brother Nino Tempo’s 1967 recording of “Boys’ Town.“ April’s solo was placed on the B-side of her minor hit “Wake Up And Love Me.“ When another B-side was needed for her follow-up, “(Won’t You) Marry Me Again,“ strings were added to the mix. Both versions are presented here. Originally released on A & M Records in 1974.
