Hearst Headquarters New York, USA 2000 – 2006 Designed to consume significantly less energy than a conventional New York office building, Hearst Tower is a model of sustainable office design. Over 85% of the steel used for the structure is recycled material. The original six-storey U-shaped structure was completed in 1928.
