For thousands of years primitive cultures around the globe developed different self-care protocols for reasons of hygiene and appearance. Some allowed hair growth to be naturally uncontrolled. Some shaved their heads. Some shaved their beards. Today we can see the great diversity and obsession concerning body hair on the streets of many major cities worldwide. In this video I explore a primitive method of shaving the male beard and mustache to learn what it was like back then to remove facial hair. I was surprised by the result.
