Abandoned Waterfront Caboose House Hidden in the Woods!
What a find! In 1986 a husband and wife purchased the 100 acre farm for $90,000. They lived in the farmhouse and continued to farm for a number of years. They decided to place an old caboose and rail car at the very back of the property to use as a cabin. Later they let a man live there off grid and he built a 2 bedroom addition on the back of the caboose. Once the owners passed away the man moved out and the property was sold in 2003. The farmhouse was demolished but the off grid caboose house sits abandoned and nature is slowly taking over. Thanks again to Rob for letting me know about this amazing location.
