Rubber-Powered 1940 Earl Stahl Hurricane - Thermal Ride

Thermal assisted flight with the recently restored model of the 1940 rubber-powered Earl Stahl Hurricane. Original plan was published in the July 1940 issue of Flying Aces Magazine. The model was built in 1990 by Tom Hallman and the late Bob Lundberg for the Flying Aces Club’s One-Design event in Galeville, NY. The 33“ model came in at 72 grams without rubber.
