Ritchie Cordell - Tick Tock (1962)

Written by Paul Simon (under the name J. Landis). This single did not chart nationally in Billboard, but charted in the Top 20 in Ohio and the Top 20 in Massachusetts. Ritchie became a successful songwriter, writing or co-writing such hits as “I Think We’re Alone Now“, “Mony, Mony“, “Mirage“, “Gettin’ Together“ and “Indian Giver“. Tick Tock“ was later recorded by Rocky Sharpe and the Replays. B-side is “Please Don’t Tell Her“.
