In today’s episode I will review the Sengled ZigBee LED Dimmable Smart Light Bulb. I’ll show you a practical use for this ZigBee bulb which works out of the box with SmartThings and Alexa. Let’s get cracking.
The Sengled line of ZigBee smart bulbs are directly compatible with the Echo 4th Gen Plus, Echo Show 10, Echo Studio, SmartThings, Wink, Hubitat or the Sengled Hub. These bulbs are not compatible with Philips Hue bridge system.
Sengled smart light bulbs can be controlled by voice with Alexa Echo or Google Home Voice Assistants. The standard Soft White bulbs which I am working with today are dimmable led bulbs which you can control in SmartThings automations or Alexa routines. You have the flexibility to switch them on/off and you may also adjust the brightness from 1% to 100%. You can also setup a group for all of your Sengled light bulbs and easily group control them with SmartThings, Alexa, Google Home and IFTTT. The Sengled LED bulb is equivalent to a 60-watt light in brightness
