For over 3000 years, people have been subjected to torture, humiliation, and even death for being homosexual. As it stands today, homosexuals continue to be verbally and physically abused, humiliated, cast out by their families as well as many different religious sects and/or congregations, and in certain countries around the world it is actually illegal.
