Within the past year, I’ve gone through many stages in my life. On July 19th, 2013, everything changed, and this was the day that my father had passed away at a very young age of 44 years old. It was very difficult for my mother, brother and I to cope with everything happening at that very moment but we all found that strength within ourselves to keep us grounded. My father had passed away due to a drug overdose. His addiction to drugs has been a lifelong battle for him. Given that not only him but
