Shincheonji church leader apologises for spread of COVID-19 in South Korea

The founder of the South Korean sect linked to around half of the country’s 4,000-plus COVID-19 cases apologised on Monday (Mar 2) for the spread of the coronavirus. Shincheonji leader Lee Man-hee bowed twice to reporters in Gapyeong.
