Folding a daddy long leg from tengujo, the thinnest paper in the world. Tengujo, also written tengucho, is made from kozo fibers which come from the mulberry tree. The company Hidaka Washi makes varying thicknesses of the paper ranging all the way down to 1.6 gsm which is thinner than human skin.

I chose a daddy long leg to fold with this paper because they have very long skinny legs. Daddy long legs, also known as harvestmen are not actually spiders like many people think. They are in the order of arachnids called opiliones and, unlike spiders, they have fused body segments and only two eyes. Another common myth about daddy long legs is that they are the most poisonous spider in the world but their fangs are too soft or short to be able to bite a human, but this is just flat out incorrect.
