Saying the Buddha’s Name (南 無 阿 彌 陀 佛), is the Great Practice given by Amida Buddha, as an easy means for us, to free ourselves from the vicious cycle of pain and suffering. The Nembutsu (念 佛) is the essence of Amida’s Primal Vow, His absolute pledge, to save all suffering beings.
This 18 minutes Recitation in Japanese, Namo Amida Bu, 南 無 阿 彌 陀 佛, is meant for persons who wish to be in the presence of Amida Buddha. Adapted from another version mentioned in the Acknowledgement below, it is accompanied by drum beat and beautiful music.
