Winding through the Kent countryside, this drive captures some of the most picturesque views Kent has to offer! It certainly was calm ‘after’ the storm this time, as you can see from the roads the weather from Storm Bella caused some problems along the journey but the drive time team made it!
Passing through Shoreham, a parish of Sevenoaks, this village is one of the first recorded locations in 1668 where Cricket was originally played. During the summer months the area is very popular with tourists, they even have an annual May Day duck race that takes place on the river.
The video finishes in the unique village of Eynsford. From the heavy rain the night before, you can see how high the water line is along the River Darent, which meant avoiding the Ford and taking the safer option in using the Irish bridge!
