Amtrak Surfliner NEW Charger Locomotives!

All aboard! The SC-44 “Charger“ is a new diesel-electric passenger locomotive built by Siemens Mobility in Sacramento, California. In this video, we will take a look at several of these new locomotives as they enter service on the Pacific Surfliner. You’ll see the Chargers leading regular Pacific Surfliner trains as well as multiple locomotives running on some trains as they are tested before being allowed to run on their own.
