JR Kamakura (鎌倉駅) and Kita Kamakura (北鎌倉駅) Stations, Kamakura, Japan
Kamakura district in Kanagawa prefecture is famous for it’s temples and shrines. Both JR Kamakura (鎌倉駅) and JR Kita Kamakura (北鎌倉駅) stations are located about two minute train ride (probably less than a mile) from each other.
There is a narrow street called Kamakura Kaido (鎌倉街道), between these two stations, right next to the train track. On this street, there are many great temples like Kenchoji.
