An EA-18G Growler electronic-warfare aircraft assigned to U.S. Navy Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 23 conducts a test flight on 100% biofuel near Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland, Sept. 7. Throughout the month of September, VX-23 conducted research and development test flights using this alternative jet fuel as part of Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus’s goal to have 50 percent of US Navy and Marine Corps energy come from alternative sources.
