Researcher Dan Fountain along with the Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society say they’ve found the Arlington, a 244-foot bulk carrier ship. It sank over 80 years ago in Lake Superior. Using sonar, the team was able to get its first look at the decaying WWII-era ship, where it lay about 35 miles north of Michigan. Captain Frederick Burke set sail on the Arlington on April 30th, 1940. The ship began to take on water and sink. The entire crew made it to safety, except the captain.
