This video is in honor of the 49th anniversary of Leonard Warren’s final performance March 4th 1960, 49 yrs ago today. During this performance he passed away on the stage of the metropolitan is a live recording. I will also say that most recordings of this Aria on youtube do little to no justice to this music. Leonard Warren was a prime example of what Wagner had in mind while he was composing this piece.
