Cutting-edge technology transforms medical landscape in China

At the Qingdao Municipal Hospital, doctors are treating a patient suffering from severe heart disease. They’re using high-end ultrasound diagnostic equipment developed by Hisense, a Chinese company. The equipment helps emergency physicians to rapidly evaluate the condition of patients. It especially helps doctors in primary medical institutions, based in smaller cities or remote areas, to make more accurate diagnoses and improve the professional skills of doctors. The equipment also provides tips to doctors on their operating techniques, to avoid missing the detection of lesions and is especially useful for those outside the ultrasonic department. In Weihai, Wego, a Chinese company, has independently developed China’s first laparoscopic surgical robot approved to enter the market by the national FDA. The surgical robot can be controlled remotely. During remote surgery, doctors are still able to perform minimally invasive operations on patients. __________________ ShanghaiEye focuses on producing top-quality contents.
