Shocking!Another Chinese overseas bridge project have completed

Bangladesh’s Padma Bridge, the largest infrastructure project in the country, was built by Chinese companies and connects twenty-one districts in southwestern Bangladesh to the capital city of Dhaka. Opening on June 28, 2022, the bridge is the longest in Bangladesh, spanning 9.8 kilometers with a highway and railway on separate decks. Constructing the bridge faced numerous challenges due to the soft riverbed, rapid water, floods, and high tides. Chinese engineers overcame these difficulties over eight years, using innovative techniques and equipment. The bridge has brought significant benefits to Bangladesh, reducing travel time from the southwest to Dhaka and improving local income and living standards. It also promotes economic and trade exchanges between Bangladesh, China, and other South Asian countries, showcasing China’s leadership in infrastructure construction and fostering friendship between the two nations. The bridge plays a crucial role in China’s Trans-Asian Railway and its Belt and Road Initiative, facilitating regional trade and development while connecting major ports in Bangladesh.
