1963 Valiant Signet 200 Commercial - Let the fighting begin! Valiant was it’s own make again in 63
1962, The Valiant became part of the Plymouth Brand in 1962 in the USA, but then! In 1963, Valiant became it’s own brand again. This commercial illustrates that Valiant for 63 was available at Plymouth - Valiant Dealers, had it’s own Logo, had it’s own nameplate and was marketed as a separate brand. BUT, in 1964, Valiant was part of Plymouth again. I suspect it was because they didn’t’ want to sell the Barracuda as the Valiant Barracuda but as the Plymouth Barracuda? Any insight here would be appreciated from former Chrysler Employees that is, people in the know.
