Eos 30 Door Latch fix

I decided to fix the broken latch on my canon 35mm eos 30 camera. It was a brilliant camera and I was really annoyed that a tiny piece of plastic stopped me using it. So i order the replacement part from (there’s plenty of overseas people to source the part from so i’m sure if you use the part number it should work in the US, Canada, Australia, and most of Europe. ---Disclaimer---- I am not responsible for your repair please take care and do this only if you feel like you can, you can break your camera if you do something wrong and it’s totally up to you, I’m just sharing how I fixed my camera, I’m not a camera tech but if you decide to fix your camera it’s 100% your responsibility and nothing to do with me.
