Primitive Pottery: Firing Wild Clay with a Pit Fire

Not too long ago, I released a series of four videos in which I gathered and purified wild clay, made some simple pots, and then fired them in a pit fire. In this video, I pit fire another round of pots, but explain the process a little more for those that are interested in the process and are looking at trying it themselves. I’m still learning this process for myself, but I’m sharing the things that are working for me as I continue to explore further.
