There is a popular belief that Goldfish only have a 3 second memory. A new study not only debunks this myth but also proves that Goldfish are smart. In a popular science experiment scientists trained some young goldfishes and played a certain sound at feeding time. After that they were released into the ocean. About 6 months later scientists played the same sound over loudspeaker and many of the goldfish returned means Goldfish can remember for over 6 months.
