Traumatic birth of Thomson’s gazelle in Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania.

I was busy photographing a pair of mating lanner falcons in Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania, when my guide quietly said, “I think that gazelle is about to give birth...“ Given the mating activities of the falcon’s this seemed like an appropriate next activity to photograph.  But what followed was much more than expected.
