About Swami Samarpanananda Saraswati * Swami Samarpanananda was born at Orissa, India, on 30th May in Science with Botany (Honours), Utkal University, Orissa in 1989. He left home on 30th August 1990 and joined spititual gurukul (family of masters) life in Rishikesh at Shivananda Ashram on 8th September 1990. * Took Isthadeva-Mantra-Initiation from H. H. Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj, the president of the Divine Life Society (DLS), Shivananda Ashram,Rishikesh on December 21st. 1990.
