Live: Lebanese riot police fire tear gas at protesters in Beirut

LEBANESE riot cops fired tear gas at rock-hurling demonstrators trying to storm the barriers outside Beirut’s parliament today. Thousands gathered in Martyrs’ Square to protest at the government’s handling of Tuesday’s killer chemicals blast which left more than 150 dead.
