P+S Technik EVOLUTION 2X Anamorphic Lenses

A montage, shot on Arri Alexa with P S Technik EVOLUTION 2X anamorphic lenses. We used the 40mm and 75mm, paired with Tiffen’s Rota Variable ND filter tray. These lenses are based on Kowa’s original anamorphic lens design. They have a distinctive look, particularly the 40mm, flare beautifully and are relatively lightweight, as anamorphic lenses go. P S Technik have done a good job on the housing, as the focus and aperture are nice and smooth, and the gears are ubiquitous across the range of focal lengths.
