Krittibas and His Bangla Ramayana – A Documentary on Krittibus, Anchored by Chinmoy Guha

Anchored by Chinmoy Guha in an inimitable way along with his student of University of Calcutta, Sayan Chattopadhyay and directed by Debojit Kumar Ghosh, Krittibas and His Bangla Ramayana is a documentary film on the legendary Bengali poet of the medieval times, Krittibas Ojha (1381-1461) and about his Bengali transcreation of the great Indian epic, Ramayana, popularly known as Krittivasi Ramayan. The film is a production of Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) under their Bhasa Mandakini Programme. An important documentary that reminds us of one of our most important cultural heritages of Bengal.
