The CaveCast Underground Sessions-Episode 2: Levitation Room

Formed in Los Angeles, California, Levitation Room offers a unique 60s garage rock sound with a psychedelic twist. Their eccentric melody lines and lengthy instrumentals seem to embody the ambience of the cave, as if they have played here a thousand times before. They open their set with a never before recorded single and Julian ends the night with a heartfelt folk-like tribute to his time spent on lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic. Of all the artists to record a “quarantine“ song over the past several months, Julian’s seems to paint a clear and vivid picture of what those times actually felt like. Whether it was synchronicity or a simple twist of fate that led to them performing at the Grand Canyon Caverns, the limestone formations will remember the way they rattled that night. We hope you enjoy as much as the rocks did.
