Romanian gymnast Andreea (not spelled Andrea) Raducan started to grab international attention as a junior in 1997, and, 2 years later she world her first individual medal on floor. Andreea went on to win the artistic gymnastics all around competition at the 2000 Sydney Olympics but she was later stripped of her medal for taking an over-the-counter cold medicine which has seen been removed from the banned substances list. To gymnastics fans, she still remains the Sydney Olympic Games 2000 champion.
