Counterpunch Tree Smash: Does it Slide Under Impact?

Not just a slight clip, but a full on tree strike, on chunky bark. The Counterpunch slides, not grabs. Saves a crash, saves your hand and maybe saves your season. People often ask why they don’t curve more over your pinky. It’s because they don’t need to; less is more. I struck the tree so hard that my wrist hurt for two days. You can see how far over I hit the tree, by the way the bar had to turn and drag for so long to get me all the way past the tree (and I even struck my arm on the tree as well). This was definitely not your typical “clip“, and would have struck all knuckles on my hand, and possibly broken something. Sorry it’s not centered in the frame, but I wasn’t going to willingly do it that hard and far over again so that’s good enough. #mtbhandguards
