Here’s a painting that was featured in Sonic #241. It’s something I wanted to draw after reading about Sally’s fate in issue #230. I’ve been a fan of Sally since I was a kid, and seeing her sacrifice herself to become one of Eggman’s mindless robotic drones was the single most heartbreaking thing I’ve seen in a comic. This scene shows us Sally’s last moments of free will and her undying love for Sonic. Goodbye, Sally. We’ll miss you.
