Pluto’s ‘Twilight Zone’ (The Dark Side of Pluto)

This movie is based on image of Pluto taken by NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft only a few minutes after closest approach on July 14, 2015. Seen here, sunlight filters through and illuminates Pluto’s complex atmospheric haze layers.
