Hair: Cabula 6 with Michael Pinsky and Igor Dobricic

The City of Vienna commissioned the award winning performance group, CABULA6 in collaboration with Michael Pinsky and Igor Dobricic to create Vienna’s first official wig. In a four day around-the-clock performance, the hair from hundreds of people living in Vienna was woven together to form this unique Viennese wig. From the 6th -- 9th July 2011, premier hair stylists from around the city offered free haircuts whilst the wig was created, in front of the audiences’ eyes, from the hair from their heads. Once complete, the wig began to live its own life as it travels to major museums around the world.
