I followed it for a couple of minutes and almost on the shore was another pike, slightly bigger, maybe 1 kg. I had already shot one pike earlier and that was enough catch for the day. It was not the first time when a small pike guided me to a bigger one. Maybe it was going toward a known good hiding spot which was (and often are) already occupied by a bigger fish? CCCP Fedeli a
