As a lifelong student to his craft, Bryson has been mastering the art of vinyl DJ’ing since he was 11 years old. Prior to mixing, thanks to his older sister, he was introduced to the unfamiliar sounds of Brazilian Funk at the moldable age of 6. This acted as the catalyst to his now curious, genre-bending, and ever-exploring sound. Bryson’s devotion to vinyl has un wavered since playing a house party at age 13 in which a shooting took place and all his equipment including his records were stolen or damaged. This momentous event was what sparked the pursuit of his career, that despite this life-threatening situation he found himself in, the moments before chaos ensued he was commanding the room with his music and he knew he wanted to do it again. Bryson’s approach to the decks is nothing short of audacious as he takes you on an international auditory journey unlike you’ve experienced before. In this mix, he’ll blend the rhythmic melodies, energizing drum patterns, and deeply resonating sounds of World Funk, Soul, and a dash of Psych.
