Majestic Eagles

Subscribe to the channel: @natureslivenotebook Eagles are some of the largest birds and are at the top of the food chain. They are known for their gracefulness, balanced aggression, and fantastic eyesight. An eagle’s eyesight is around 5 times better than a human’s vision, and they can detect prey up to two miles away. There are more than 60 species of eagles, with the bald eagle being one of the most recognized. The bald eagle, native to North America, is the second largest flying bird in North America, with only the California Condor having a larger wingspan. They are usually found in areas abundant with large, tall trees and large bodies of water. Eagles are monogamous and mate for life, with both parents sharing parental duties when looking after their offspring. They are extraordinary hunters with extremely impressive wingspans, and their large, strong wings mean they are able to dive at high speeds. Their sharp, strong talons are ideal for clutching fish out of the water.
