Piotrkowska Street in Łódź is the most famous street in Łódź.
It owes its fame to the fact that it is the longest street in the city, partially transformed into a 2 km long promenade. It has plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. A skilled eye of a stroller will also notice many charming tenement houses. Many of them have been restored and attract tourists with their charm.
There is also an avenue of stars of many famous Polish directors, actors and screenwriters. Łódź is the center of Polish cinematography and the oldest Polish film school is located here.
