The choir of the Russian Orthodox Patriarchate of Moscow. The oktavist section is unusual on this performance of Bortniansky in that it drops all the way to A1 at times, but what is even more unusual is that this performance is in St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, during a Holy Mass with Pope Francis presiding. So, we have the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, in Slavonic, thrown in the middle of the Latin Mass.
