Volvo Begins EX90 Electric SUV Production in Charleston

Volvo Cars is delighted to announce that its factory outside Charleston, South Carolina has begun production of the new electric flagship SUV, the EX90. The first customer deliveries are anticipated in the latter half of this year. The EX90 not only enhances Volvo’s portfolio of fully electric vehicles but also signifies a paradigm shift for the company. It is the first Volvo model powered by advanced core computing technology, heralding a new era of safety for the brand. The inaugural EX90, painted in Denim Blue, rolled off the Charleston production line and is destined for a customer in the United States later this year.
