Virology 2014 lecture #20 - Antivirals

A discussion of antiviral therapy, including a consideration of why there are so few antiviral drugs, a brief history of the field, and analysis of drug resistance. We also describe antiviral compounds available for HIV, herpesviruses, influenza virus, picornaviruses, and hepatitis C virus.
