Valeria Messalina, a name synonymous with feminine cruelty. Like a serpent, she paralyzes Emperor Claudius with her sensuality. Once in her grasp, the otherwise powerful emperor of Rome can do nothing but surrender to his greedy consort. While Claudius defends the Roman Empire, Messalina takes its lust for every man who crosses her path. The deception is a thorn in the side of the Roman people. Because of her the people turn against their emperor. Afraid of her position as Empress, Messalina seeks and finds a man who can take over the role of Claudius. Far outside Rome, Claudius hears about the wedding and stops it. There is only 1 way he can save his honor. Torn with grief, the Emperor signs his Empress’s death warrant.
