Dejumo Lewis; ’’ the poorest paid actor on Fatai Rolling Dollar

Dejumo Lewis (born 1943) is a Nigerian film and television actor, famous for the Kabiyesi role in The Village Headmaster, Nigeria’s longest running television soap opera showed on Nigerian oldest television channel, NTA from 1968 to 1988 that stars the late Justus Esiri and Femi Robinson who died on May 20, 2015. He attained the age of 70 years in 2013 and according to The Sun Newspaper, Dejumo Lewis Said: “In the first place, I think it’s a very wrong notion for any able bodied person in any field of endeavour to retire at 70. Turning 70 for me is like starting a new life and that’s the truth. As a matter of fact, any active person who retires at the age of 70 wants to retire to the next world,”… Veteran actor, Dejumo Lewis, popularly known for his role as Kabiyesi in the classic NTA TV series The Village Headmaster has cried out that he is poor.
