Dachshund Physio after Back Surgery

Katie slipped 2 discs and had back surgery to remove the herniated portions. At just 3 years old, she had lost mobility in her back legs but the surgery was a huge success. Katie was walking the same day as the surgery and Katie came home after 2 nights (faster then their usual 4 nights). This is her physio therapy to help her muscles while she recovers. I struggled to find resources on dog physio that matched my situation, so I MADE one. I hope it helps someone out there. Cost of surgery was over $6G. She is now 110% of a dog. Katie slimmed down - we went from grazing to scheduled feedings to avoid eating the other dogs portions also. We visited our neurologist for follow ups and started to incorporate more things like short walks and small inclines, then progressing. 2020 Katie is turning 11 this December and is still 110% of a dog. We know that for her situation, surgery was the right option. I wish everyone success in their bad back journeys!
