This couple lives in the remote mountain village of Kolodne in Transcarpathia, Ukraine, near the border with Romania. Grandma’s name is Khrystyna - she is 76 years old, and grandfather Vasyl is 83 years old. They overcome the challenges of life in a mountain village every day. Their hands knew hard work all their lives, and their hearts retained warmth and love for their native land. This life is not for everyone, but they live with dignity, supporting each other at every step. Their daily work is a lesson in endurance, dedication and true strength hidden behind simple tasks.
